PURPOSE:To provide the titled cream preparation having excellent stability, etc., and stably containing ketoprofen which is a non-steroidal analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent having excellent analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities. CONSTITUTION:The objective cream preparation contains 0.5-6(wt)% ketoprofen [2-(3-benzoylphenyl)propionic acid], 0.1-5%, preferably 0.5-1.5% hydrophilic polymer (e.g. carboxyvinyl polymer), 0.5-10%, preferably 3-6% nonionic surfactant (e.g. sorbitan fatty acid ester), 2-30%, preferably 10-20% fatty acid ester (e.g. isopropyl palmitate), 0.05-3%, preferably 0.5-1.5% pH-modifier and 65-85% water. The preparation has excellent physical stability, high transcutaneous absorbability and low skin irritation.
