PURPOSE: To provide a process for efficiently producing a useful exogenote product which has been difficult in secretion and expression there of by preparing a plasmid containing an exogenote inserted immediately after a gene coding a specific amino acid sequence, culturing Bacillus brevis holding the plasmid and collecting the culture product. ;CONSTITUTION: This valuable exogenote product which has been difficult to be secreted and expressed can be produced in high efficiency by of a signal peptide in a main extracellular protein of a bacterial strain Bacillus brevis 47 (FERM P-7224) unable to produce a protease, inserting an exogenote immediately after the obtained gene coding a new amino acid sequence of formula I [(α)_n means the insertion of 1 to 3 Lys or Arg units at arbitrary sites in the region; (β)_m means the insertion of 1 to 9 Leu, Ile, Val or Ala units at arbitrary sites in the region; X₁ is Pro, Gly or Ala; X₂ is Met or Asn] or formula II ((n) and (m) each is 0-2) to obtain a plasmid, culturing Bacillus brevis holding the plasmid and collecting the produced and accumulated culture product.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
