PORCELAIN CLAY SHEET AND MANUFACTURE OF CERAMICS PLATE

PURPOSE: To prevent an interlayer exfoliation by continuously preliminarily heating a plurality of long porcelain clay sheets formed of a fibrous material and a ceramics material at a specific temperature, then superposing them, hot pressing it via press rolls, and laminating to integrate them. ;CONSTITUTION: Water and binder are added to a fibrous material and a ceramic material, agitated and mixed to a mixture slurry. The prepared mixture slurry is used to make a porcelain clay sheet as a long porcelain clay sheet 2 by using a papermaking machine, and once wound on a winding core as a wound roll 1. A plurality of the rolls 1 are gathered, and the sheets 2 are simultaneously drawn and superposed. Since the sheet 2 has a weak tensile strength, the roll 1 is drawn while rotating it in a drawing direction. The drawn sheet 2 is continuously preliminarily heated at least at 50°C to prevent insufficient temperature of the sheet 2 of an intermediate layer. The preheated sheets 2 are superposed, hot pressed via press rollers 8 maintained at a surface temperature of 300°C or lower, and the plurality of the sheets 2 are laminated integrally.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
