PURPOSE: To continuously treat products batchwise by synchronizing respective stages within units and imparting time differences thereto, then controlling a sequence of the steps of the stages of process units when carrying out the sequence described above, then treating the lumpy products by using media. CONSTITUTION: This process unit is provided with an inlet 2 and an outlet 3 and is divided to plural, at least three, separate single process chambers 1, 1a and 1b. The inlet 2 and outlet 3 of the single process unit are connected to a supply unit 10 and the individual stages of the sequence are progressed in synchronization. At this time, the sequence of the steps of the stages of the single process chamber or its group is started with a programmed cycle with the time difference. The process includes a common unit for control and regulation. The lumpy products 6 are treated by using the media during the sequence of the stages in the process units and are taken out of the supply unit 10.
