PURPOSE:To provide a multiple woven sheet for civil work, composed of a specific double-layered combination weave and capable of mitigating the pressure by the characteristic softness against the side pressure and vertical pressure applied to the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A double-layered combination weave having a gap between the layers is produced by forming a weaving cycle with 12 warps in the following manner. An upper weft Y1 and a lower weft Y2 are disposed with a prescribed distance. A definite number of warps, e.g., 12 warps are woven into the sheet using the upper and lower wefts as the center. Each warp is woven with the upper weft Y1 and the lower weft Y2 varying the weaving position, i.e. the skipping position and the number of skipped wefts and is extended and skipped across the upper and lower wefts.
