PURPOSE:To facilitate handling in a bright room and to obtain good performance by incorporating a specific silver halide emulsion, dye and hydrazide compd. into a titled material. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide contg. at least 80mol.% silver chloride, the silver halide emulsion contg. a water soluble rhodium salt at 10-6-10-4mol. per mol. of the silver halide, the dye having absorption maximum at 400-600nm, and the hydrazide compd. which releases a development restrainer when attacked by a nucleophilic agent after the oxidation by the oxidation product of the developing agent are incorporated into the titled photosensitive material. Namely, the dye having the absorption max. at 400-600nm is incorporated into the photosensitive material in such a manner that the material can be handled in the bright room. Problems such as remaining of the trace after sticking are thereby solved and the excellent bright room photosensitive material having the good retouch work is obtd. while advantage is taken of the bright room photosensitive material having the excellent ease of handling.
