PURPOSE:To perform the fixing process of an iron core while suppressing the internal strain of the iron core to a small value by annealing an iron core made of an amorphous magnetic material, and applying a paint or bonding agent to the edge face of the iron core when the temperature decreases and hardening it. CONSTITUTION:An iron core 1 is formed of an amorphous magnetic material, and it is annealed at 400 deg.C by heating furnaces 11, 12 to remove the mechanical strain. Then, when the temperature of the iron core 1 is slowly cooled to 200+ or -50 deg.C in a slow cooling chamber 15, a bonding agent is applied to the edge face of the iron core 1 with spray nozzles 18 and hardened by heat inertia. Therefore, the edge face of the iron core 1 is covered with a hardened coating film 2 of the bonding agent, whereby the fragility of the amorphous magnetic material is improved. Also, since the coating and hardening are performed in the process of slowly cooling the iron core, even if a bonding agent of the organic system is utilized, it does not penetrate into the core. With this, the fixing process of an iron core made of an amorphous magnetic material can be performed while suppressing the internal strain of the iron core to a small value.
