PURPOSE: To easily construct a complicated system by a simple system by connecting plural neuron elements of multiple inputs and one output where the displacement amount of an internal active value according to a neuron output value is determined with each other. ;CONSTITUTION: In an input/output relation of a neuron element 11, a multiple- input and one-output constitution that parallel input signals x1(t) to XN(t) from other neuron element or the outside are inputted and an output signal y(t) is outputted is taken. This neuron element 11 is provided with an adder 12 adding plural signals and a nonlinear converter 13 performing the nonlinear conversion for the addition result and outputting the result successively. Further, the input side of the adder 12 is connected with plural multipliers 14, an arithmetic unit 15 and a memory 16 storing a threshold θ. In the neuron element 11, the displacement amount of an internal active value u(t) is determined according to its own output value, and a neural network is constituted by connecting plural neuron element 11 to each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
