PURPOSE:To determine the titled compound in high sensitivity, by treating a test specimen containing NADH or NADPH with a flavin and an oxidation- reduction enzyme, automatically oxidizing the formed flavin of reduction type with an enzyme, treating formed H2O2 with a dyestuff and peroxidase and measuring absorbance. CONSTITUTION:A test specimen containing nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) and/or nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) is treated with an enzyme such as NAD(P)H-flavin mononucleotide (FMN) oxide reductase, NADH-FMN oxide reductase or NADPH-FMN oxide reductase, a formed flavin of reduction type is automatically oxidized with an enzyme, formed hydrogen peroxide is treated with a dyestuff and peroxidase to oxidize and color and the absorbance is measured to determine the aimed compound by visible part absorption method.
