PURPOSE:To manufacture easily a fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin tube of superior resistance to heat, high strength and high elasticity by heat forming integrally a wound material of self-curling thermoplastic resin sheet reinforced with reinforcing fiber. CONSTITUTION:The fiber orientation direction of a first reinforced fiber layer section 5 of an upper face section is in the arrow direction (c), while the fiber orientation direction of a second reinforced fiber layer 6 is same as the axial direction. Shrinkage stress of the second fiber layer section 6 is remarkably larger than that of the first reinforced fiber layer section 5 in the orientation direction of fiber 4 crossing fiber 3 of the sheet 1. The sheet 1, therefore, can be self-curled in a manner that the second reinforced fiber layer section 6 can be used as an outer surface and the orientation direction of said fiber 4 is in conformity with the peripheral direction, while the first reinforced fiber layer 5 is used as an inner surface and the orientation direction of said fiber 3 is in conformity with the axial direction of a curled material. The strength of self-curling properties of the sheet 1 can be controlled by adjusting fiber density of the first and second reinforced fiber layers 5 and 6 adjusting crossing angle of the fiber 3 and fiber 4 and the like. For instance, self-curling properties of the sheet 1 can be strengthened by enlarging the crossing angle of the fibers 3 and 4, and the strength of self-curling properties gets maximum at the time of 90 deg. crossing angle.
