PURPOSE:To prevent the drying of high concentration slury of coal and water and deposit thereof to the inner surface of a store tank, by preliminarily injecting protecting liquid, having a lower specific gravity and higher boiling point than that of water, and further non-soluble property to water, into a tank. CONSTITUTION:Protecting liquid 14, having a lower specific gravity and higher boiling point than that of water, and further non-soluble property to water, such as mineral oil or the like, is slightly injected into a store tank 1. Then, into the store tank 1, high concentration slury 2 (CWM) of coal and water is injected through a feed pipe 3. Thus, since the surface of the CWM 2 is always coated with the protecting liquid 14, evaporation of water in the CWM 2 is suppressed so that the drying thereof is prevented. Beside, at the time when the store level in the store tank 1 is vertically shifted, the protecting liquid 14 is adhered to the inner wall of the tank 1, that is, being interposed between he CWM 2 and the inner wall, thereby it is possible to prevent the deposit of the CWM 2 to the inner wall of the tank 1.
