PURPOSE:To remove mixtures from gas of organic solvent having halogen and containing mixtures by supplying the gas to a charged electrode of high voltage to positively charge the mixtures so that the positively charged mixtures are collected by a collecting electrode. CONSTITUTION:Gas of an organic solvent containing halogen, e.g. trichloroethane, which contains mixtures of methanol, surface-active agent, animal fat, wax, etc., is supplied to charged electrodes of high voltage to positively charge the mixture, whereby the positively charged mixtures are collected by means of collecting electrodes 8. As a result, the mixtures can be separated form the gas and removed.
