PURPOSE:To prevent an epidermal growth factor from attaching itself to a container comprising a resin material, etc., and to stabilize the title aqueous drug by adding a surfactant having a specific concentration to the title aqueous drug containing an epidermal growth factor in a specific concentration. CONSTITUTION:An epidermal growth factor(EGF) containing aqueous drug of preparation type in use containing 0.1-20mug/ml EGF, useful as a drug or cosmetic, is mixed with 0.001-1.0wt.% one or more surfactants selected preferably from polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene stearate, polyoxyethylene castor oil derivative, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether and sorbitan fatty acid ester to give the above-mentioned aqueous drug which prevents EGF from attaching itself to a resin material container and reduction in concentration of EGF, maintains content of EGF during preservation in a fixed concentration and retains physiological activity thereof.
