PURPOSE: To easily adjust pressing force of a cord reel by a spring. ;CONSTITUTION: In a nylon cord type brush cutter where plural engaging projection means 44 and 46, which engage when cord reel 24 is pushed downward by a spring 42, are installed on the lower surface of the cord reel 24 and inside of a bottom case body 22, respectively, while a releasing mechanism 38 of centrifugal force engagement of the cord reel 24 consisting of radial gutter type guides 32 and balls 36 arranged in these gutter type guides 32 is installed between the cord reel 24 and the bottom case body 22, and plural projection means 48 and 50, which engage when the cord reel 24 moves upward against the pushing force of the spring 42, are installed on the upper face of the cord reel 24 and inside the cord case 18 respectively, plural adjusting bosses 52 are installed under the lower surface of the reel case 18 along the direction of its rotation and, at the same time, height dimensions of these adjusting bosses 52 are made to be different to each other and further a spacer is rotatably inserted between the adjusting boss 52 and the spring 42.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
