A decontamination system for decontaminating a contaminated volume of soil includes a probe (10) constructed of an elongated hollow tube (12), a point (20) formed as a helical power screw so that the probe (10) may be removable drilled into the soil, and a number of apertures (26) formed on the tube (12) for injection of a pressurized fluid into the soil for extraction of fluids and contaminants from the soil.
