PURPOSE: To provide a platform capable of being rapidly cooled by improving the heat conductive characteristic of the platform to support a radiation detector cooled to cryogenic temperature and matching the thermal expansion characteristic to a silicon reader. ;CONSTITUTION: The quick cooling/low strain hybrid focal surface array platform comprises a first main surface 13a for supporting radiation detector means and a second main surface 13b of opposite side having a rising part 14 extended from the surface. The part 14 is formed integrally continuously from the second main surface with the shape selected to be connected to a cryogenic cooler, and the platform is formed of aluminum nitride.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
