TOOL FOR ACHILLES'TENDON STRETCHING ALSO USED FOR MEASURING BODY'S FLEXIBILITY

PURPOSE: To provide a fitness equipment which has a mechanism for stretching of the Achilles' tendon, etc., and also a mechanism to measure the capacity of a person to bend forward standing. ;CONSTITUTION: A support 4 is stood in the front part of a horizontal base 1. To the support 4, a cursor 6 is set in a way that it can slide up and down. On the surface of the base 1, a concave 8 is formed and receiving parts 9a-9c, and 10a-10c on the front edge and rear edge of the concave 8 respectively. These receiving parts have difference in level and are symmetrically placed to make steps. Under a step board 11 covering the concave 8, a bar 16 is vertically set, and the bar 16 is to stop against either one of the receiving parts 9a-9c. By this movement of the bar 16, the surface of the step board 11 is adjusted to be horizontal or a slope at a specific angle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
