PURPOSE:To reduce organic or inorganic impurities eluted during using a module by washing the same by means of immersion or putting water through beforehand in a hot water of given temperature of more and then adhesion sealing the ends of a hollow yarn membrane. CONSTITUTION:Hollow yarn membranes of polyimide resin, polysulfone resin or polyethersulfone resin are used. Said hollow yarn membranes are bundled into a yarn bundle and immersed in a heated pure water of 80 deg.C or more for on hour or more, and heated pure water is put through the hollow yarn bundled. After said hollow yarn bundle is left standing in room temperature, the same is inserted into a case, and an epoxy adhesive is injected by a centrifugal sealing machine or the like, being cured, and the ends of the case are cut to prepare a hollow yarn membrane module. By said process, impurities likely to be eluted out of the hollow yarn membranes are removed beforehand, and the eluted out of an adhesion sealed section can almost be prevented.
