PURPOSE: To prevent metallic corrosion and leakage of refrigerant to the side of exhaust gas or the deterioration of recovering capacity of heat by a method wherein the flow rate of exhaust gas, passing through an indirect type heat exchanger, is adjusted and the amount of refrigerant is controlled by the outlet temperature of exhaust gas. ;CONSTITUTION: The flow rate of exhaust gas is controlled by a thermometer 11 in accordance with the change of exhaust gas outlet temperature of an indirect type heat exchanger 7, which is generated by the fluctuation of amount of sludge or moisture from a sludge conveyor 15, so that an exhaust gas temperature is controlled at 200-400°C or preferably 250-350°C. As a result, overcooling to the dewing temperature of exhaust gas is prevented. According to this method, metallic corrosion due to the condensation of chloride, sulfide and the like which are contained in the exhaust gas of combustion can be prevented, the deterioration of heat conductivity accompanied by the adhesion of dust and the like to the heat transfer surface is prevented the leakage of refrigerant to the side of exhaust gas, the deterioration of heat recovering capacity or the like can be prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
