PURPOSE: To make it possible to silence the noise of an indoor machine for air conditioning without using a silencing box and also to facilitate installation and to attain a simple structure. ;CONSTITUTION: Central air-conditioning equipment 50 having an indoor machine 51 for air conditioning which is installed and accommodated in a prescribed accommodating space 21 in a building 10 and takes in air inside the building 10 and discharges it as conditioned air, a silencing material 41A which is provided on the inner peripheral surface of the prescribed accommodating space 21 and intercepts or absorbs noise such as a vibration sound of the indoor machine 51 for air conditioning, etc., is constructed.
