EXCHANGING METHOD OF SPEED GOVERNOR FOR ELEVATOR AND TENSION CANCELING JIG OF SPEED GOVERNOR ROPE

PURPOSE: To provide a safe exchanging method of speed governor also simple in its operation and an effective construction of an exchanging jig. ;CONSTITUTION: A rope holder 20 is fixed to a speed governor rope 10 and the speed governor rope 10 together with the rope holder 20 is pulled up in vertical direction to the surface of a pit floor 14 and the tension and dead weight load of a rope on a machine chamber 2 side are canceled. Then a mooring metal fitting 24 of the rope holder 20 is locked in a holding place of a car 4 and the speed governor rope 10 is pulled out from the speed governor 9 by removing one end 10(a) from a rope holder 11 and then exchange between anew and the existing speed governors is carried out. The rope holder 20 has such a construction as fitting spiral grooves 29 to the speed governor rope 10 to hold it inside and tightening left and right panel members 21 and 22 with a bolt 30.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
