PURPOSE: To provide a general plier fitting mounted on jaws of pliers and used in a clamp of various collars. ;CONSTITUTION: The recessed housings 24, 44 comprising the end walls 26, 46, the lower walls 27, 47 and the upper walls 28, 48 are formed on the front faces 22, 42 of a pair of fittings 20, 40 to be engaged with the tabs 12, 14. The end wall 46 of the housing 33 of a second fitting 40 is formed to be approximately flat, and the recessed housing 24 of a first fitting 20 is laterally formed on a central part of the front face 22 of the first fitting 20, an approximately flat central setback 26a is mounted on the end wall 26 of the recessed housing 24, and the approximately flat side parts 26b in parallel with the setback 26a are mounted at both sides of the setback 26a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
