CALCIUM FERTILIZER FOR FOLIAR APPLICATION AND METHOD FOR APPLICATION

PURPOSE:To obtain a calcium fertilizer used for foliar application of a plant so as to reduce physiological disorder due to calcium deficiency of the plant by mixing a highly soluble calcium salt with a low soluble calcium salt at a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:This calcium fertilizer is obtained by mixing 10-50% highly soluble calcium salt with 90-50% low soluble calcium salt. The highly soluble calcium salt is mixed and diluted with the low soluble calcium salt and the resultant mixture is then subjected to foliar application so as to reduce the dissolution ratio of the calcium salt corresponding to the reduction in the dilution ratio on the leaf surface after the application. For example, calcium chloride or calcium acetate is cited as the calcium salt having the high solubility and, e.g. calcium primary phosphate or calcium sulfate is cited as the calcium salt having the low solubility.
