PURPOSE: To predict a melt-miscibility of a blend of polyolefins and improve mechanical properties of the blend. ;CONSTITUTION: A melt-miscible polyolefin blend comprises a) about 50 to about 99.8 wt.%, based on the weight of the blend, of a first polyolefin having a segment length of the first polyolefin and b) about 0.2 to about 50 wt.%, based on the weight of the blend, of at least one modified polyolefin, wherein the modified polyolefin has a modified polyolefin segment length which is about 85% to about 115% of the segment length of the first polyolefin.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
