PURPOSE: To prevent the metallic fatigue of a heat transfer bulkhead by a method wherein the heat transfer bulkhead, defining the main body of an oven and hot-water jacket, is formed so as to have the shape of an arch bent and recessed toward the inner direction of the main body of the oven. ;CONSTITUTION: A recessed heat transfer bulkhead 3 is interposed between the main body 1 of an oven and a hot-water jacket 2. The bulkhead 3 is worked by a method wherein the bulkhead is pinched between the main body 1 of the oven and the hot-water jacket 2 while retaining the flat state of the bulkhead as it is to assemble them integrally, then, pressure fluid is introduced into the hot-water jacket 2 to pressurize the inside of the hot-water jacket 2 and inflate the bulkhead so as to be recessed toward the side of the main body 1 of the oven. In this case, fluid pressure, exceeding the elastic limit of a metallic plate constituting the heat transfer bulkhead 3, is applied on the inside of the hot-water jacket 2. The heat transfer bulkhead is provided with the arced sectional structure whereby a necessary strength can be obtained even when the thickness of the heat transfer bulkhead is thinned and heat transfer efficiency can be improved. On the other hand, the heat transfer bulkhead is not deformed by a pressure difference between the inside of the main body of the oven and the inside of the hot-water jacket, which is produced upon operating the oven, whereby the metallic fatigue of the heat transfer bulkhead can be eliminated and breakage such as cracking and the like can hardly occur.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
