PURPOSE:To obtain printed matter with a larger printing pitch than the plate area of a printing roll by extending thermally plastic film in width direction using a belt pressure-holding transport-type film extending device so that a specified extension rate can be obtained, in a post- or pre-extension process. CONSTITUTION:A design for plate making compressed is prepared so that it is similar to an original design prepared to be equal to the unit printing pitch of a final printed matter, then a printing roll is made using said design for plate making and data is printed on thermally plastic film with the help of said printing roll using a printer. After the printed thermally plastic film is heated using a heating device, is is allowed to pass through paired pinch rolls which rotate at a different speed from each other. After that, said thermally plastic film is heated using a heater and then is extended at a specified extension rate using a belt pressure-holding transport-type film extending device so that the width of the thermally plastic film becomes the same as that of the mentioned original design.
