PURPOSE:To prevent the interaction between adjacent magnetized poles by inserting a cylindrical magnetizing magnetic pole to a hollow part, pressing the other magnetizing magnetic pole to the circumference of the core so as to apply insert forming thereby projecting the core circumferential face. CONSTITUTION:In recording a signal on a tape 1, since the tape 1 is run while being pressed to a core 5 of an erasure head 4, the recording is erased by being magnetized saturatingly by an erasure magnetic field of the core 5 and recorded newly by a recording/reproducing head 3. The 1st-3rd magnetized magnetic poles 10-12 are formed to the core 5 by the magnetizing magnetic field generated between the magnetic poles 11, 12 and the magnetic pole 13 in flowing a magnetizing current I to a coil 9 of a magnetizer 8. Since the 4th magnetic pole 13 as a counter pole is provided to the magnetic poles 10-12 magnetizing the magnetizing magnetic poles to the magnetizer 8, the magnetizing magnetic field is applied perpendicularly to the circumferential face of the core 5 and the magnetization without leakage of magnetization and interaction between adjacent magnetizing magnetic poles is attained.
