OUTFIT FOR CONSERVATIVE TREATMENT OF METATYPICAL KNEE ARTHRITIS

PURPOSE: To obtain an outfit for treatment which is easily mountable by integrally mounting a flexible sole plate having a wedge shape to evaginate or invert the heel bone in correspondence to the metatypical knee arthritis at the bottom part of socks of TABI (Japanese socks) and including this sole plate into a cloth bag body. ;CONSTITUTION: The socks 1 for conservative treatment of the metatypical knee arthrities are designed to correct the evagination of the heel bone and is formed by integrally mounting the sole plate 3 to the part of the inside surface of the sole plate 2 which comes into contact with the outer side of the sole from the patient's heel. The sole plate 3 is formed of a rubber-like elastic material to the wedge shape in such a manner that the plate is higher toward the outer side of the foot. The sole plate 3 is included in the cloth bag 4 and is integrally mounted by adhesion, sewing, etc., at the inside surface of the sole plate 2. The sole plate 3 comes into contact with the outer side of the sole from the patient's heel and makes conservative treatment of the metatypical knee arthritis. The sole plate 3 is formed integrally with the socks 1 and, therefore, the patient who is an aged person is eventually able to mount the sole plate 3 in the action of wearing the socks 1 as one of daily practices.
