PURPOSE: To provide the subject stem cutter, designed so as to stretch beltlike conveying belts side by side at an interval of the stem part of each mushroom of Pholiota nameko S. Ito et Imai and rotate a belt cutter so as to cross the undersurface side thereof and capable of cutting the stem part protruding from a cap part of this mushroom to a prescribed length. ;CONSTITUTION: This stem cutter is obtained by installing a chute (C) capable of controlling each mushroom of Pholiota nameko S. Ito et Imai to a posture protruding a stem part thereof from the cap part in the conveying direction of conveying belts 50... and feeding this mushroom in the starting end side of a conveyor (d), stretching the conveying belts 50... of the conveyor (d) side by side at an interval so as to fit the stem part of fruit body of the mushroom therein and rotating a belt cutter 62 crossing right and left the undersurface side of the conveying stroke of the conveying belt.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
