PURPOSE: To enable chemicals without air infiltration to be administrated, by preparing an adapter including vial containing chemicals forming a mixture with a dilution, connecting the adapter with a socket after forming the mixture, and then connecting this socket with an intravenous administration set. ;CONSTITUTION: An adapter 10 includes a tubular cartridge 12 and a cannula 26 is extended through a wall. In the first part 40 of the upper part of the cartridge 12, a dilution 43 is contained, and a wall 48 is provided with a spike 50 providing the passage of liquid between the first part 40 and the second part 42 of the adapter 10. The vial 54 is included in the second part 42 of the adapter 10, and the spike 50 is put through a rubber plug 58. The adapter 10 is mounted with the vial 54, contains an upper side fixing tool 60 with an entrance 70 and a lower side fixing tool 68 with an exit 72, and is fitted to a socket 64 wherein an injecting part 73 capable of passing through and sealing more than once is fixed to the inside of the upper side fixing tool 66.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
