PURPOSE:To improve machining accuracy by constituting a speed control means which compares measured profile data with ideal profile data to calculate the error and corrects the ideal profile data by the error to obtain implementation data. CONSTITUTION:A speed control means adds the speed control signal in response to the command speed of a control shaft to the speed control signal in response to the follow-up error between a main spindle and the control shaft of a tool feed shaft, thus the follow-up performance to the speed component of profile data is improved. However, the profile data have the secondary or higher differential components, the follow-up performance to these components is not improved, thus the profile of a work actually machined with ideal profile data is measured, ideal profile data corrected by the deviation with the ideal profile data are used as implementation profile data, and the actual machining is performed with these data. Accordingly, correction of the profile data is automatically performed by a numerically controlled device 30, thus high-accuracy machining is performed efficiently.
