PURPOSE: To provide a method for controlling diameter of granules in good responsiveness and a fluidized bed furnace capable of readily realizing such control method. ;CONSTITUTION: In a granule diameter-controlling method in a fluidized bed furnace 10, comprising granulating the raw material power to granules having prescribed diameter by partially melting the powder while fluidizing and bonding the raw material, (a) the raw powder is blown into the fluidized bed furnace 10 using compressed gas and simultaneously, (b) diameter of the resultant granule is controlled by changing the blowing conditions.
