PURPOSE: To obtain a new DNA fragment useful for gene diagnosis or gene therapy of allergic diseases or ictus epilepticus, etc. ;CONSTITUTION: A DNA fragment having a base sequence or an amino acid sequence a part of which is expressed by the formula, containing a gene coding bovine histamine H₁ receptor and having 1461 bp length. An oligonucleotide corresponding to a base sequence of base numbers 757-796 is chemically synthesized from a bovine histamine H₁ receptor base sequence, and a human glioma and a DNA library are screened by a plaque hybridization method to isolate the objective phase clone and DNA is extracted and cDNA coding human histamine H₁ receptor is identified according to ordinary method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
