WEB OPENING PART REINFORCING METHOD OF STEEL STRUCTURAL BEAM

PURPOSE: To enhance the fitting workability of a pair of ring-shaped reinforcing plates to the web opening of a steel structural beam, and also the reinforcing performance and reliability thereof by interally and projectedly providing a male-screw fitted cylindrical part and a female-screw fitted cylindrical part to the respective central hole parts of the pair of ring-shaped reinforcing plates as strong reinforcing members. ;CONSTITUTION: A male-screw fitted cylindrical part 5a projectedly provided to the central hole part of a ring-shaped reinforcing plate 5 is fittedly inserted into the web opening 2 of a steel structural beam 1, and the female-screw fitted cylindrical part 6a projectedly provided to the central hole part of another ring-shaped reinforcing plate 6 is fittedly inserted into the web opening 2 from the other side, and is screwed with the male-screw fitted cylindrical part 5a. Both the reinforcing plates 5, 6 are sandwichedly tightened on both surfaces of the web opening 2 of the steel structural beam 1 so as to reinforce the opening.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
