PURPOSE: To provide a matte coating method capable of obtaining a stable matte cured film even when coating material having a compsn. containing no matting component is used. ;CONSTITUTION: Active energy beam curable coating material 1 having hydrophobicity is applied to the surface 20 of a base material 2 and, thereafter, water 3 is uniformly condensed on the coating surface 10 of the coating material 1 before curing and, at the same time, the coating surface 10 is irradiated with active energy beam P to form a cured film 1a having a matte cured surface 10a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
