METHOD OF ARRANGING DOCUMENT IN PAPER FEEDING DEVICE, PAPER FEEDING DEVICE, AND PAPER PICKING MECHANISM USED IN THE PAPER FEEDING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To provide a method and a device for feeding documents to various application equipments as document receiving devices along a proper feeding direction by correcting a dynamic slanted displacement of the documents with various thicknesses and sizes. ;CONSTITUTION: A method of arranging documents by a feeder 10 in which the leading ends of documents 18-1 are arranged vertically relative to a feeding direction 31 has a step to feed documents 18 using forward movement right and left side rollers 66 and 68 driven independently of each other so that the leading ends of the documents 18 are moved closely to a sensor for detecting the leading ends which supplies an output according to the position of the leading ends of the document 18 relative to the feeding direction 31. In addition, it has a step to start right and left side motors 70 and 72 driving the forward movement right and left side rollers 66 and 68 using an output from the sensor for detecting the leading ends so that the leading ends take that position vertically toward the feeding direction 31 before moving closely to the receiving device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
