PURPOSE: To separate sufficiently and inexpensively org. solid substance contained in a waste cooking oil and utilize the waste cooking oil. ;CONSTITUTION: A emulsion is prepd. by stirring and mixing a waste cooking oil and an aq. sodium hydroxide soln. A satd. sodium chloride soln. is added thereto and the mixture is boiled while it is stirred. A regenerated oil and the aq. soln. are separated by leaving them standing. Hydrochloric acid is added to the aq. soln. to make the mixture weakly acidic and the mixture is boiled. The weakly acidic substance after boiling is separated into a solid substance and an weakly acidic liq. which is mixed with an aq. alkali hydroxide soln. to make the mixture weakly alkaline, which is separated into a solid substance and a weakly alkaline liq.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
