PURPOSE: To manufacture an aluminum alloy plate excellent in press formability and curing performance for baking paint by applying heat treatment under a specified condition after executing solution heat treatment to the aluminum alloy plate contg. Mg, Si at a specified ratio. ;CONSTITUTION: The solution heat treatment is applied to the aluminum allay plate consisting of, by weight, 0.2-0.65% Mg, 0.1--0.35% Si, and satisfying -0.54Mg-7Si0.5 and the balance Al with inevitable impurities. Next, within the time of 48 hours, heat treatment is executed in the temp. range of 50-200°C for 1-24 hours and stable Mg, Si are formed in the aluminum alloy plate. In this way, the aluminum alloy plate having adequate press formability and curing performace for baking paint of ≥ about 70N/mm2 in a baking treatment at low temp. and for a short time is obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
