PURPOSE: To prevent embrittlement, enable use of Ti material being highly corrosion resistant in a hydrogen sulfide aq. soln. and enhance the practicality by deleting the scratch having deeper than specified depth on the surface of the Ti material and suppressing a hydrogen absorption. ;CONSTITUTION: In the Ti material having the scratch on the surface, the surface of the scratch is deleted in ≥0.1μm by pickling and polishing to prevent the hydrogen absorption of the Ti in the hydrogen sulfide aq. soln. In this way, the formation of the hydride due to the hydrogen absorption and the embrittlement are prevented, and the safty in use is ensured, and the practicality of the Ti which is excellent remarkably in corrosion resistance as compared to stainless or copper especially is further enhanced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
