摘要

PURPOSE: To eliminate repetitive surgical operation by forming a plate part consisting of a sternum holder with a fixing part and a rod member with bioadaptable and biodegradable materials and selecting a holder to fix and retain a sternum body and ribs. CONSTITUTION: A holder 1 formed with a part of the form of a rectangular parallelogram plate 2 with a base 3 working as a supporting surface installed on the sternum body is provided. The rod-form members 4 and 5 protrude from the side part of the parallelogram plate 2 to the reverse direction and are folded in the vertical plane to the base 3. The radius of the folding corresponds to the radius of the rib bow. The plate 2 and rod-like members 4 and 5 are formed of bioadaptable and biodegradable polymer materials. Therefrom, a holder adapting to the human engineering parameter of a patient can be selected to fix and retain the sternum body and ribs, which enables to eliminate a repetitive surgical operation for holder removal.
