BAY WINDOW UNIT WITH SUSPENDING MEANS

PURPOSE: To make it possible to suspend a bay window unit in a simple and safe manner. ;CONSTITUTION: A fixing piece 25 of a suspending jig 1a is detachably secured to a predetermined position on the inner side surface of a bay window unit 2 by means of a bolt, and the lower end 25a of the piece 25 is positioned above the lower end 2a of the unit 2. A hooking piece 26 projected from the piece 25 is brought into a hooking engagement with the upper part of the outer side of the unit 2 to prevent the bay window unit from falling down. The fixing piece 25 is lifted through a suspending part 27. The bay window unit 2 can be mounted on a second floor sash unit and fixed thereto, while the jig 1a is attached to the unit 2. After the unit 2 is fixed, by loosening bolts, the jig 1a can be detached from the unit 2 in a simple and safe manner.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
