PERMANENT RETAINING DEVICE FOR RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TIGHTENED SCREW AND NUT

PURPOSE: To keep a screw and nut permanently fixed without any looseness after the tightening thereof and eliminate a failure cause in assembling a vibration machine body. ;CONSTITUTION: A top plate 4 with a circular hole 5 drilled at the center thereof is welded to a nut, and a suitable adjusting seat ring 7 is arbitrarily selected for determining complete tightening state. Then, the nut is driven along the recessed groove 6 of a screw or electromagnetically welded, thereby being fixed and kept permanently unchanged. Also, the ring 4 is welded to the neck section of a general screw, and driving projections are formed around the ring 4 at a plurality of positions, so as to have the ends thereof supported on a baseplate 1, or to be weld fixed to the baseplate 1, thereby realizing permanently tightened and fixed state. This structure, when applied to a vibrating machine, gives effectiveness extremely higher than the case of the conventional structure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
