PURPOSE:To obtain a one-step method for measuring a human plasmin-alpha2- plasmin inhibitor composite with good reproducibility, by using a monoclonal antibody and diluting specimen plasma to 1,200 times or more. CONSTITUTION:This method aims to measure a composite of plasmin and alpha2- plasmin inhibitor being a measuring objective substance but, in plasma, plasminogen and alpha2-plasmin inhibitor being immunological inhibitors of this measuring system are overwhelmingly more than said composite and it has been said to be extremely difficult to avoid said inhibitors. Therefore, in this measuring method, a plasma specimen is sufficiently diluted and the monoclonal antibody to alpha2-plasmin inhibitor is used to find out that the plasmin-alpha2-plasmin inhibitor composite is accurately quantified by a one-step process without being affected by the inhibiting factors in the measuring system.
