DEVICE COMPENSATING REVOLVING IMPACT FORCE

PURPOSE: To use a small and cheap bearing by providing a hole in the first flywheel mass of an assembly unit for passing therethrough a securing member which connects a rotary impact compensating device to a driven shaft, and providing in a second flywheel mass a cutout aligned with the hole for permitting the operation of the securing member. CONSTITUTION: This damping device 26 for compensating rotary impacts constitutes an assembly unit, which has a hole in a first flywheel mass 3 for passing therethrough a securing member 6 which connects the device 26 to the driven shaft 5 of an internal combustion engine. A second flywheel mass 4 has therein a cutout 4a aligned with the hole in the first flywheel mass 3 for permitting at least the operation of the securing member 6. The notch 4a has a cross section such that at least one screwing tool for screwing a torque transmitting device to the drive shaft 5 can be passed therethrough. Such a structure enables the use of a relatively small and cheap bearing.
