PURPOSE: To provide a heat-insulation structure member capable of shielding the mending work range from heat radiation in the hot-mending of a wall of a carbonization chamber of a coke oven. ;CONSTITUTION: This heat-insulation structure member is composed of a core rod 1 placed at the center and coolable with air, a heat-insulating expanded material 2 wound on the core rod, a heat-insulation material 3 wound on the heat-insulating expanded material 2, a band 4 clamping the heat-insulating material and disappearing at a high temperature and a mantle 5 placed to the outermost side of the assembly and disappearing at a high temperature.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
