CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF PROTECTION LAYER OF ROOF WATERPROOFING

PURPOSE: To eliminate an expansion joint or drain gutter work by using water permeable asphalt for a protection layer of a roof waterproofing. ;CONSTITUTION: After a waterproofing 2 constituted of an asphalt waterproofing 2a and a polyethylene film 2b is constructed on the surface of a roof slub 1, water permeable asphalt of coarse aggregate 3a is placed thereon to form a water permeable layer 3. After that after liquid asphalt is applied, decorated aggregate 4a is thinly spread to form a facing layer 4, and a protection layer 5 constituted of the water permeable asphalt layer 3 and facing layer 4 is formed. According to the constitution, rain water flows down to the roof waterproofing 1 through gaps of the water permeable layer 3 and is led to a roof drain to drain.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
