CONNECTING METHOD OF MOLYBDENUM FOIL AND MOLYBDENUM LEAD PART AND MANUFACTURE OF LAMP SEALING PART BY USING SAME CONNECTING METHOD

PURPOSE: To provide a method to reliably connect molybdenum foil and a lead part to each other with sufficient strength without using an expensive binder such as platinum or platinum clad molybdenum. ;CONSTITUTION: A molybdenum member 8 having carbon is interposed between molybdenum foil 4 and a molybdenum lead part 3, and both are fixed together by resistance welding. The molybdenum member 8 having carbon is formed by covering the molybdenum member with carbon, or carbon not less than 30 weight ppm can be provided in the molybdenum member 8, or a molybdenum carbide layer can be formed on a surface of the molybdenum member 8. A lamp sealing part can be manufactured by this connecting method by using a filament assembling body.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
