PURPOSE: To obtain the band-pass filter with an excellent and stable temperature characteristic and the small branching filter by adopting a support disk made of a ceramic for a support of a dual mode dielectric resonance element. ;CONSTITUTION: Support disks 31, 32 made of an alumina ceramic whose dielectric constant is properly lower than a dielectric constant of resonance elements 21, 22 are employed for supports the dual mode dielectric resonator elements 21, 22. As a result, since the ceramics, especially the alumina ceramic being the material of the support disks 31, 32 has a high mechanical strength, a low linear expansion coefficient and less change in the dielectric constant due to a temperature change, the resonance elements 21, 22 are supported very stably mechanically and electrically. Moreover, the alumina ceramic has excellent thermal conductivity and heat generated by a power loss of the resonance elements 21, 22 is delivered to an external conductor and dissipated therefrom via the support disks 31, 32, then the fluctuation in the resonance frequency caused by deformation of each element due to a temperature rise is very small.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
