PURPOSE: To obtain an antimicrobial liquid material having high antimicrobial property, simultaneously being a liquid, containing an antimicrobial substance in stable state and capable of readily adding to a liquid material and uniformly dispersing and readily handling. ;CONSTITUTION: This antimicrobial liquid material contains a N-long chain acylamino acid salt of a metal (e.g. silver, copper, lead, zinc or tin) having antimicrobial action in an aqueous solution of alkylglucoside in a weight ratio of the N-long chain acyl amino acid salt: the alkyl glucoside of (1:1) to (1:20). The liquid material further contains preferably 0.5-5wt.% of an amphoteric surfactant, preferably a glycine type amphoteric surfactant. As the alkylglucoside, an alkylglucoside having ≥12HLB, especially octyl glucoside, ethylhexylglucoside, decylglucoside or noylglucoside should be preferably used. As the N-long-chain acylamino acid salts, two or more kinds of N-long-chain acylamino acid salts to which different metals are bound should be preferably used and as the long chain acyl, decanoyl, lauroyl, myristoyl group, etc., should be preferably used.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
