PURPOSE: To provide an explosive munition component of low vulnerability, preferably with a metal casing, comprising an inner layer of composite explosive and an outer layer of explosive component coaxially covering the inner layer adjacent thereto, which outer layer is made of less sensitive pyrotechnic composition than the composite explosive constituting the inner layer. ;CONSTITUTION: A composite explosive constituting an inner layer 2 is a filled polymeric matrix containing at least one organic nitrated explosive, and a pyrotechnic composition constituting an outer layer 3 is a filled polymeric matrix in which the filler contains at least one inorganic oxidizing agent or an organic nitrated explosive, and the interface between the inner and outer layers 2 and 3 is of star-shaped cross-section.
